It was founded in 1989. At that time, the students were given singing and piano lessons, and at the end of the year, they took an exam at the Conservatoire of Getxo.

   Nowadays, with the implementation of the LOGSE, there are also music and piano lessons, but it is not compulsory for the students to take an exam. They are taught for entering the Conservatoire, but only if they want so and show ability.

   As mentioned above, the only musical instrument taught is the piano, and even though so far only children have been given the chance to learn at the Music School, at the moment classes of Musical Language to adults are distributed.
